West Newton Community Park
New equipment and in a nice area. Always have to do a walk around and pick up the locals garbage.Update. July 1, 2023 showed up with the kids and the park was full of kids and parents from the neighborhood...all south asian families...Garbage is still a problem. AND THIS...

Murphy's Farm Market & Bakery
Visited Oct 27, 2021.Very beautiful and scenic farm. All the staff were super welcoming and very helpful. The farm had a lot to see and do, especially the corn maze and wagon ride. Fresh baked cookies were amazing. Definitely recommend visiting!

Civic Centre Pirate Playground
The pirate park is always a hit with the kids. Close to the library too, if you need an inside bathroom or change table.

Candy Cane Park Playground
The picnic areas were spaced well apart, giving each group plenty of space and privacy but not so far that you felt isolated. It was a pleasantly communal space. The playground seemed in good repair and was definitely popular. Plenty of seating was available around the park and the bathrooms were easy to find and as clean as can be expected on a day with hundreds of people in the park. Parking was tight due to the sheer number of people in the park and would be more than adequate on a regular day.

Victoria Square Playground/Splash-pad
Very nice place for walk, picnic, short camping, baseball field usually empty in the morning...grass trimmed and green.

Pearson Park
One of the best parks on the island.....even compared to the parks we used to go to in ontario, this one has some really unique things for the kids to do, also has a swing that accompanies a wheel chair, how cool. Highly reccomend
